If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.
Albert Einstein

About the project

Good Malmö was a very successful project that matched young unemployed talents with companies who wanted to give the talent a 1-year full-time contract.
When the project started losing its efficiency, the team began researching on causes to the situation.

Problems

Not enough people contacting Good Malmö

Candidates not work-ready

Unrealistic view on the job market both from the candidates and companies

Too passive cooperations with other organisations (sources for candidates)

Confusing addresses- “Uppstart”/ “Good Malmö”

Limited ways of working/ advertising because of the project design

Quality assurance from co-operators

External factors such as low unemployment within some occupations

No shows that steal time and companies' trust

Process

The process was 95% of research and analysis, 5% design.
Just as Einstein said, after an extensive research, the solution was obvious.

Outcome

Insight that the job market has changed drastically since the start of the Good Malmö project and it doesn't serve its purpose anymore.

Design of a completely new project, well adjusted to the needs of the job market: On Track, that became very successful
